What streaming costs in Sweden

The standard monthly plan of 11 services, each read on the service's own site.

The cheapest is Cultpix at SEK 59 a month and the most expensive Viaplay at SEK 169. Prices are in SEK, for the cheapest plan without ads, paid monthly.

Not included: annual plans, student and family prices, bundles, trials and offers. Only plans with ads when the service sells nothing else. Prices change; check with the service before you sign up. Services whose price we have not read on their own site are left out.

Keeping four services or taking them in turn

Netflix (SEK 129), Disney+ (SEK 129), HBO Max (SEK 149) and Prime Video (SEK 69) cost SEK 476 a month together. Over 8 months that is SEK 3,808.

If what you want to watch on each fits in 2 months, subscribing to one at a time and cancelling before the next costs SEK 952 over the same 8 months. Whether it fits depends on your own list; the Binge Boss planner works it out from the shows and films you add.
