Getting Started
Binge Boss helps you find shows and movies, track what you have watched, and plan your streaming subscriptions to save money. Here is how to get started in three steps:

Explore
Search for TV shows and movies, browse trending titles, or use AI to describe something you cannot remember the name of. Filter by genre, streaming service, rating, and more. -
Add to Library
Click the + button on any title to add it to your personal library. Track which episodes you have watched and which are still on your list. -
Plan Your Subscriptions
Go to the Planner page. Binge Boss analyzes your library and creates a month-by-month rotation plan — telling you exactly when to subscribe, what to watch, and when to cancel each service.

Explore & Search
Browse trending shows and movies, or search by title. Filter results by streaming service, genre, age rating, and minimum score. Binge Boss shows you which service carries each title in your region so you never have to look it up.
AI Search
Cannot remember the name of a show? Describe it in your own words — "a chemistry teacher who starts cooking meth" — and the AI will identify it. Powered by Google Gemini. Requires a free sign-in.
Library & Episode Tracker
Your personal watchlist. Add TV shows and movies, then track which episodes you have watched. Binge Boss shows your progress for each show and remembers where you left off — even if you switch services and come back months later.
Import & Export
Bring your existing watchlist from other services. Import CSV files from Trakt, IMDb, Letterboxd, or any other service with a CSV export — the format is auto-detected. You can also export your Binge Boss library as a CSV file.
How to import: Go to Library → click the Import button (↓) → select one or more CSV files → review the list → confirm. Files named "watchlist" are treated as unwatched.
Subscription Planner
The core of Binge Boss. The planner groups your unwatched shows by streaming service and creates a month-by-month schedule. It tells you which service to subscribe to each month and when to cancel — minimizing overlap and saving you money.
Optimization modes: "Binge date" prioritizes watching everything as soon as episodes are out. "Saving" groups shows to minimize the number of subscription months.
AI Recommendations
Not sure what to watch next? Binge Boss analyzes your library and suggests TV shows or movies you will love — prioritizing titles on services already in your rotation plan. Powered by Google Gemini. Requires a free sign-in and at least 3 titles in your library.
Email Reminders
Get a monthly email when it is time to switch services. The reminder tells you which service to subscribe to, which shows are ready, and which services to cancel. Enable reminders on the Planner page after signing in.
Unsubscribe: Click the link at the bottom of any reminder email, or toggle off reminders on the Planner page.
Provider Settings
Not every service needs to be rotated. On the Planner page, click the settings icon to configure each streaming service:
- Binge (default) — subscribe, binge, cancel, repeat
- Always on — keep this subscription year-round
- Hidden — exclude from your plan entirely

How does Binge Boss work?
Binge Boss analyzes the shows and movies on your watchlist and identifies which streaming service each title is available on. It creates a month-by-month subscription rotation plan that lets you subscribe to one service at a time, watch everything available there, cancel, and move to the next. This eliminates overlapping subscriptions and ensures you only pay for what you actually watch.
Is Binge Boss free?
Yes, Binge Boss is completely free. There are no premium tiers, hidden fees, or credit card required. All features including the subscription planner, episode tracker, AI tools, import/export, and email reminders are available at no cost.
What streaming services does Binge Boss support?
Binge Boss supports all major streaming services including Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Peacock, and many more. It covers streaming availability across 70+ countries worldwide with local pricing and automatic region detection.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required to start using Binge Boss. You can add shows, generate plans, and explore features immediately. Creating a free account lets you save your library across devices and enable email reminders, but it is entirely optional.
How do I import from Letterboxd, Trakt, or IMDb?
Go to your Library page and click the Import button. Select one or more CSV files exported from your other service. Binge Boss auto-detects the format and lets you review and edit the list before importing. You can select which titles to import and toggle watched status for each one. You can even select multiple files at once — for example, both watched.csv and watchlist.csv from Letterboxd.
How does the AI Search work?
AI Search lets you describe a show or movie you cannot remember the name of. Type a description — plot details, characters, setting, vibes — and the AI will try to identify it. For example, "a chemistry teacher who starts cooking meth" returns Breaking Bad. Sign in with Google to use this feature.
How do I change my region or country?
Click the flag icon in the top navigation bar and select your country from the list. Binge Boss will update all streaming availability and pricing to match your region. If you have shows in your library, you will be asked if you want to re-check their provider availability for the new region.
How do I unsubscribe from email reminders?
You can disable email reminders in two ways: click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any reminder email, or go to the Planner page in the app and toggle off the Email Reminders switch.
How much can I save with Binge Boss?
Most users who subscribe to 3 or more streaming services simultaneously can save 50-70% on their annual streaming costs by rotating subscriptions. For example, if you pay for four services at $15 each ($60/month), rotating means you pay roughly $15-20/month instead — saving over $500 per year.
Is my data safe?
Binge Boss stores your library locally in your browser. If you sign in, your data is synced to a secure cloud database so it works across devices. We do not sell or share your data. You can export or delete your data at any time. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
