The Seven Deadly Sins (2014)
The “Seven Deadly Sins”—a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia—were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although some claim that they still live. Ten years later, the Holy Knights have staged a Coup d'état and assassinated the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's only daughter, sets out on a journey to find the “Seven Deadly Sins,” and to enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.

What kind of watch this is
The Seven Deadly Sins is a 2014 animated fantasy where a princess recruits a band of exiled knights to overthrow the tyrants who killed her father. The show runs 24 minutes per episode, and across 4 seasons and 96 episodes, that totals 38 hours of sword swings and magical battles. The premise is simple: evil knights turn out to be good guys, and good knights turn out to be evil ones. It is a high-energy power fantasy that treats its lore with the seriousness of a video game cutscene. The tone is loud, the stakes are cosmic, and the characters never stop moving. It is for those who want their fantasy to feel like an arcade cabinet.
How it did with audiences
The film skips the box office ledger entirely, so there are no ticket sales to dissect. Instead, the record lives in the user score. TMDB voters give it an 8.4. That number sits high enough to suggest the audience found something worth keeping. It is a rare case where the only metric is how much people liked it, not how much they paid to see it.
