The second season pushed it to fourth place, trailing only Dallas and Simon & Simon. Season three saw it beaten out only by two other NBC shows, including The Cosby Show. Then season four dropped it to 29th by Super Bowl Night. TMDB users rate it 7.5 out of 10.
What came next for the cast
Dirk Benedict stepped out of Battlestar Galactica and into a military ensemble. Mr. T walked away from Rocky III and The Blues Brothers. He then traded serious muscle for Inspector Gadget, Spy Hard, and Not Another Teen Movie. The credits cannot prove the 1983 series caused that pivot. They simply mark the turn.
