What kind of watch this is
Take Charge of My Heart is a 2026 sci-fi comedy where an artificial heart meets a woman with actual electricity. The premise leans on the tagline: charged by touch, drained by distance, shocked by love. It runs 11 hours total, which is about the length of a mid-life crisis if you ignore the plot. Song You-chae and Park Soo-won created it. Kim Young-kwang, Chae Soo-bin, and Cha Woo-min star. The tone is dry enough to let the absurdity breathe. You press play expecting a rom-com. You get a circuit diagram with feelings.
How it did with audiences
Take Charge of My Heart holds an 8.7 on TMDB, which is a high enough number to suggest the audience found it engaging rather than merely tolerable. Since the studio did not release box office figures, we cannot judge its financial footprint. We can, however, judge its reception. The users seem to have liked it. That is a solid foundation for a title that likely aims for heart, not just the wallet.
