What kind of watch this is
Bloodaxe is a 2027 drama series that turns the Viking era into a high-stakes political thriller. Created by Michael and Horatio Hirst, it features Xavier Molyneux and Jessica Madsen as Erik Bloodaxe and Gunnhild, a couple who want the Norwegian throne and are willing to burn the region down to get it. The show runs 8 episodes, a tight package for a story about shifting loyalties and bloody betrayals. It treats the Viking age less like a historical lesson and more like a corporate boardroom where the chairs are made of bone. The tagline is simple: only one will rule.
