What kind of watch this is
Vikings is a 67-hour commitment to the rise of Ragnar Lothbrok. Michael Hirst builds it on sagas that were written down centuries after the events they describe, so the history is as much invention as fact. The tone is loud, brutal, and deeply religious. It asks you to believe that god-descended warriors are also terrible fathers and even worse politicians. The hook is simple: a man who wants to be king, and the chaos that follows when he gets it.
