Pendleton Ward built the Land of Ooo on a nuclear war, but the show feels more like a fever dream than a history lesson. How it did with audiences
TMDB users rate it 8.5 out of 10, a score that suggests the audience found something worth keeping. Cartoon Network reported the pilot drew 2.5 million viewers in 2010, with triple-digit increases in its time slot. By the fifth season, the premiere pulled in 3.435 million viewers. Then the numbers slid. The seventh-season opener fell to 1.07 million, and the finale drew 0.92 million. Kids watched it until the network stopped making it, which is its own kind of loyalty.
