What kind of watch this is
Martin McDonagh directs this 117-minute genre mashup, blending spy thriller mechanics with the dry humor of a workplace comedy. The setting is Easter Island, 1973, where two CIA agents land among the moai statues just before the Chilean coup. Their mission is simple, their past is not, and their new friends are students who refuse to be ignored. The tagline suggests doing terrible things for the greater good, which is usually where the comedy starts bleeding. It plays like a spy film that forgot to turn off the satirical channel.
