What kind of watch this is
McG directs this 106-minute drama about a Navy SEAL who trades combat tactics for high school survival. Chris Pratt plays Jake, an injured veteran who becomes the mentor to his shy nephew Marc, played by Jude Hill. The film takes the rigid discipline of military training and applies it to the far more chaotic battlefield of a freshman year. It is a family movie that treats bullying like a tactical threat to be neutralized. The tone is earnest, leaning on the promise that a soldier’s instinct can fix a boy’s confidence. It works because the stakes feel personal, not patriotic.
