What kind of watch this is

The critics did not hold a party. Rotten Tomatoes sits at 40% as of May 2025, while Metacritic lands on 41 out of 100. The consensus notes Tom Hardy’s charisma, though the film buckles under its tonal ambitions. Clarisse Loughrey of The Independent called it a reminder that these movies can have fun, giving it 3 out of 5 stars. Robbie Collin of The Daily Telegraph disagreed, rating it 1 out of 5 stars. He described it as a "yammeringly moronic" eyesore. Audiences fared better than critics, with CinemaScore grading it a B–. It is the lowest grade in the trilogy, a statistical footnote that perhaps says more about the franchise than the acting.

It cost $120 million and took in $478.9 million worldwide. In the United States and Canada, it opened to $51 million, the lowest start in the series. Deadline Hollywood blamed the Yankees–Dodgers World Series and superhero fatigue. It held the top spot for 3 weeks before Red One pushed it aside. Audiences gave it a 6.7 on TMDB. The math works, but the mood was off.
