What kind of watch this is
Tokyo Revengers is a 2021 anime that trades in time loops and gang violence. A man falls off a train platform into his own past, specifically twelve years ago. He wakes up in middle school, holding the life he lost. The hook is simple: he has the memory of a tragedy that has not happened yet. He spends his days trying to prevent a death while living through a period of youthful, loud, dangerous freedom. It is a story about regret with a punch. The series runs 22 hours total. That is a lot of time to spend trying to fix a single Tuesday.
How it did with audiences
Tokyo Revengers landed an 8.4 on TMDB, a score that suggests audiences found the time-traveling biker chaos worth the headache. Without box office figures to anchor the claim, the rating stands alone as the primary evidence of its appeal.
