How it did with audiences
The pilot drew 4.8 million live viewers, a number that made it The CW’s biggest premiere since The Vampire Diaries. Add the delayed viewing and it climbed to 6.8 million, breaking a record set by America’s Next Top Model. On TMDB, users rate it 7.7 out of 10. By 2016, it was the 5th most popular show globally. The audience did the math, and the math worked.
