What kind of watch this is
Kyle Rankin directs a 2026 action thriller that asks what happens when a campus protest turns into a hostage situation. The premise is blunt: radical Islamist terrorists hijack a pro-Palestine encampment at a liberal college, forcing a ragtag group of students, a security guard, and a Delta Force vet to arm up to save their peers. Jonathan Majors, JC Kilcoyne, and Tyler Aser lead the cast. It runs 129 minutes. It is a movie about the specific, terrible logistics of saving people who did not ask to be saved.
What the critics said
Rotten Tomatoes reports 27% positive reviews from 11 critics, averaging 5.5 out of 10. Todd Gilchrist of Variety called it "more an epic act of trolling than a sincere creative endeavor." Andrew Lawrence of The Guardian described it as "laughably terrible far-right propaganda," noting the 128-minute runtime took him three tries to finish. Joseph Holmes observed the film shows more contempt for Western progressives than its villains.
