What kind of watch this is

The central joke is that the two most powerful heroes in Paris are best friends who have absolutely no idea they are best friends. It is a 2015 animated action adventure with a 22-minute runtime per episode, making the whole six-season run a 57-hour commitment. The mystery of who is who drives every plot point, turning a standard superhero origin into a game of telephone. It is a watch for people who enjoy watching two people scream at each other about a cat.

What the critics said

Critics generally embraced the series, viewing its charm as outweighing its familiar tropes. Caitlin Donovan of Epicstream noted that the characters are "so charming that the tropey aspects of the show are merely a lot of fun, rather than irritating." Robert Lloyd of the Los Angeles Times called it "clever, romantic, fun," praising the elegant animation despite the CGI look. Not everyone was convinced. Ryan Lewis of CBR.com expressed frustration with the unresolved romantic tension between the protagonists, a plot point that annoys many fans and has caused some to lose interest.
