What kind of watch this is
Love Is in the Air is a drama-comedy about a woman whose scholarship gets cut by the man who is now her boss. He offers to restore it if she pretends to be his fiancée for two months. She hates him. She accepts. It is a 113-hour commitment, which is a lot of time to spend watching two people who cannot stop fighting while simultaneously falling in love. The chemistry is the actual plot.
What the critics said
The critics did not leave a mark on the record, so we look to the audience. It found a home in Italy on Canale 5, then Spain, where it moved from Telecinco to Divinity and thrived in the afternoon. That shift made it a summer talisman. The finale proved the point. Its episode became the most tweeted in history, beating the 7.8 million set by Game of Thrones. A romance that out-tweeted a fantasy epic is a victory worth noting.
