Audiences at CinemaScore gave it a B, which is respectable for a film that asks you to suspend disbelief for two hours.

Grace Currey moved from Shazam! to its sequel, a predictable arc for a franchise kid. Mason Gooding swapped Booksmart for Scream VI, trading teen comedy for horror he seems to have professionalized. Virginia Gardner jumped from Halloween to a string of romances, including Beautiful Disaster. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stayed in the zombie universe, hopping from The Walking Dead to Dead City.
