What kind of watch this is
Ben Affleck directs and stars in this 106-minute thriller. The hook is the clock. A mayoral candidate’s son is kidnapped, and the family’s wallet is empty from campaign spending. They have hours to find cash, which means digging up the dark corners of a life built on public virtue. The tone is claustrophobic. It trades broad action for the quiet horror of a couple realizing their dignity has a price tag. It is a pressure cooker of a film, where the threat is not just the kidnappers but the identity they are forced to abandon to pay the bill.
